2. A questioning eye on the use of white as a color of purity, transcendence and spirituality in the history of painting, and other spheres.
3. An assertive sense of absurdity; not as a negative value. Ionesco, Magritte, Beckett.
4. The evocation of the sublime has a long history in painting, indeed I consider it particularly powerful capacity of the medium.
5. An critical look at the history of the idea of whiteness in painting, literature.
